Amsterdam Sex Museum Right on Damrak, Amsterdam's main street, you'll find one of the city's most popular tourist attractions: the Sex Museum. It houses an extensive international collection of historical erotic and pornographic art, literature and artifacts.

It is a fun place to spend an hour or so, very packed with curious couples though. There are all types of erotic art, history and photography of both heterosexual, homosexual and everything in between, actually anything you can think of; everything served in a funny manner so you can have a good giggle too.

The exhibits include mannequins arranged in titillating tableau, Greek temple devotional items, Japanese carved erotic ivories and antique and modern fetish wear. There is a comprehensive selection of manuscripts and drawings ranging from the Karma Sutra to twentieth-century comics and a vast film and photographic library so everyone will surely find there something interesting. Must see sight!
